4/23/03 -Well, as you may know we didn't move on in the farmer's

ball tournament last night, but that doesn't mean you can't see us at

the Bottleneck this weekend.  We need everyone to come out and 

see us on Sunday night with Fuse 22 and Honeywagen.  We're

headlining, so it will be a nice long set of C.O. favorites.  Doors open 

at 9:00 and all proceeds go to the celebrate to educate fund.

    Congratulations to Hearts to Waste and (blue) who moved on in 

last night's competition.  Also great job to the Afternoons and Boskk 

on great performances.  It was a good show and a stiff competition.

4/9/03 - Tickets go on sale for the OK Go show today at 10:00 a.m.  

Get them while you can.  Click here to visit ticketmaster.com and 

purchase advance tickets.  We've created an online e-flyer for the 

OK Go show that we want people to send around to their friends.  

Click the link below to check it out, and if you have any friends, copy 

and paste the link into an e-mail and send it to them.  In other 

upcoming show news, it appears we will be playing at the 

Bottleneck on Sun. April 27 with some as yet unknown bands and 

also on Sat. May 3 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds with several 

other bands including but not limited to Podstar and Full Feature.

3/28/03 - We've just booked a show playing with OK Go at the

Hurricane on Wednesday, April 30.  Everyone needs to come out

because this will be an awesome show.  If you've never seen OK Go,

they are a great live band.  Advance tickets should be available

through ticketmaster sometime soon.  We'll let you know.  Also

playing that night will be National Fire Theory from Kansas City.

3/26/03 - Come check out Captain Overreact tonight at La Tasca.  We

will no longer be playing with Cripple Fight.  We will now be playing

with the Brighton Line, formerly known as Mortimer.  Come out

around 10:00 and check it out.

3/6/03 - The Guestbook is finally up so if you haven't already, please

sign it.  Even if you already signed at our old site.  We'd like to hear

from you again and get your thoughts on the new site.  Also, we have

booked a show at La Tasca on Wednesday, March 26.  We're still

figuring out who we're going to play with, but you can rest assured it

2/22/03 - Captain Overreact will be playing a Clash tribute this Friday

at the Bottleneck.  Everyone should come out and check out Captain

Overreact rockin' the Casbah.

2/9/03 - Thanks to everyone who came out to the wetlands benefit

show Saturday night.  It was a huge success and a great night of

rock and roll as is always the case at "The Blue House". 

1/20/03 - Captain Overreact has finally finished their yet to be titled

debut EP.  To get a free two-song teaser, come out to the Hurricane on

Saturday, January 25.  Teasers will also soon be available at various

locations around Lawrence and K.C.  Hopefully the complete EP will be

released in a month or so.  Keep checking back for updates on shows

and breaking news!!!
